Rochon was born and raised in Torrance. She was the daughter of Zelma Staples (a nurse practitioner) and Samuel Staples (a businessman and graphic artist). Cerritos high school in Cerritos is where she received her degree from. She received her bachelor's degree of broadcast journalism, with a minor in theatre and sociology from California State University Dominguez hills (CSUDH). Rochon made a return to CSUDH during the 2016 commencement as keynote speaker.

Heather Storm works as a travel writer, television host and producer. She is a woman with an interest in automobiles. Heather was host of Garage Squad, a Discovery MotorTrend Network series, Street Tuner Challenge which is a Speed TV show, and she starred on Jay Leno's Garage. Heather was the host and creator of Drive Yourself Local. In the series, she takes an old 1965 Ford Mustang on a journey across America and shares the small-town lifestyle. Heather has appeared in a number of television and film shows such as Nightingale and Epic Movie.

Ullerup first made an appearance in Battlestar Galactica remake, the Sci Fi Channel's 2006 television show. She played Julia Brynn. Ullerup played Ashley Magnus in the first and second seasons of the television show Sanctuary until the character was written out. Her departure remained a topic that caused heated discussion among the viewers, with a majority people wanting her to the show in subsequent episodes up until the show's cancellation in the year 2012. In the year 2016, Ullerup was cast as Bree O'Brien in Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup was Maggie Thomas, the estranged wife of Michael Thomas, in the disaster movie Asteroid: Final Impact (2015). Ullerup played Dale Travers, a recurring actor in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films from the year 2016 until present.
